In this 2-day workshop you will be making a beautiful plaster sculpture. This course is designed for Parents and Kids to work on together. In this workshop you can expect a small class size to give time to each student to get one-on-one instruction and feedback.

In this 5-week virtual class you will explore the development of Anime characters. ReiRei18 will guide you through the steps to create and develop your character. You will learn ways to make your character distinct and how to add embellishments to make them stand out. The classes will run, May 17 to June 14 from 4:30-5:15pm. In this 5-week virtual class you will go beyond the basics and learn more about acrylics and mixed media. Understanding of basic colour mixing is required for this course.

Do you have an old fur coat that you are not sure what to do with? Why not create your very own handmade bear using the coat. A perfect gift in time for the upcoming holiday season.
In this class your will learn how to take gramma’s old fur coat and turn it into a handmade bear.
Participants must have basic knowledge of hand sewing. They must also bring an old fur coat to cut up or a faux fur coat or approximately 2 meters of faux fur.

Art Camps • Visual Art and Multimedia Camp • 8 Sessions
ages 7 to 14 • 3 hour per session
Each student is required to bring their own ice-cream pail or bucket. We will be setting up a staggered drop off and pick up time to ensure proper physical distancing is followed.
Monday and Wednesday
In the mornings students will work with dry media, pencils, charcoal and pastels. They will learn about line, shading and light. Creating simple geometric shapes to more complex drawings from a still life display. Students will learn about perspective, from one point and two points.
In the afternoon, students will use some of the drawing skills and apply them to paintings using watercolour, acrylics and ink. They will also learn about mixing colours and other painting techniques to add to their art piece. Students will explore some mixed media techniques including collage.
Tuesday and Thursday
Students will learn photography techniques, understand framing and colour theory. They will discover unique angles and perceptions to capture images. Students will be immersed in the full production, from screen writing and story boarding to shooting, editing and postproduction using an app they will need to download.
Students must bring their own iPhone or iPad or tablet with the Free app Power Director downloaded. Students should be familiar with the program before class.
