Diversity

Diversity, Inclusivity and Reconciliation

PFAE is committed to promoting the full and equitable engagement of all individuals, including Indigenous peoples, people of colour, newcomers and refugees, those with disabilities, deaf individuals, 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, and women in every aspect of arts and culture. Our goal is to dismantle barriers to participation by cultivating professional and inclusive partnerships, thereby fostering a culture that values intersectionality, compassion, and respect. We are focused on enhancing cultural representation among our staff and volunteers and we actively welcome innovative and diverse artistic perspectives in our programs, events and performances. To achieve this, we are revising our systems to ensure that a wider range of viewpoints are represented, thus improving accessibility to our patrons while increasing our diversity.
