Renata is an Ojibway educator, originally from Sandy Bay First Nation who has lived in Portage la Prairie for over 20 years. She has taught art, social studies, and Indigenous culture at Portage Collegiate Institute for seven years. She also has taught hundreds of students how to bead, and wants to pass this gift on to future generations.
