Entrance

Prairie Fusion Arts and Entertainment Inc. is located at 11-2nd Street NE in Portage la Prairie, MB. Our main entrance on the west side of the building (Shopper’s Drug Mart Parking lot) is located on the main floor and is fully accessible with automatic doors.

The East Entrance (Glesby Theatre Entrance) has three steps. The stairs have handrails.

The Heartland Entrance (Programming Entrance) has 4 stairs. The stairs have handrails. There is a handi-lift for access to the lower level and this handi-lift can be accessed via a ramp when entering through the West entrance.

There are doorbells at both the west and east entrances and can be pressed for assistance.

Washrooms

Gallery

There is a single stall, non-gendered washroom with locking door and handrails. There is also one female gendered washroom with two stalls. None of these doors are automatic.

Theatre

There are 10 non-gendered individual stalled washrooms on the Glesby Theatre side of the building. The doors are not automatic. This washroom does not have an automatic door. There is a single stall, non-gendered washroom with locking door and handrails in the theatre side of the building. This washroom has an automatic door.

Backstage

There is one gender neutral washroom located inside of the green room and one gender neutral washroom located outside of the additional dressing rooms.

Lower Level

There are two non-gendered washrooms located in the lower level, each with one stall. The doors are not automatic.

Parking

There are two City of Portage la Prairie parking lots, one on the West side of the building (Shopper’s Drug Mart parking lot) and one on the East side of the building (Prairie City Cinema parking lot). There is no parking along the North side of the building as it is a street/loading zone. Assigned parking is directly along the West side of the building and is labelled as such, any unauthorized vehicles will be towed. There is one handicap parking space located directly outside of the west entrance and other additional handicap spaces located throughout the West parking lot.

There are two handicap spaces located in the East lot.

The City of Portage la Prairie parking lots have free parking for three hours Monday to Friday from 8am-6pm. If parking is required for longer than this, parking passes can be purchased at Prairie Fusion, Herman Prior or City Hall or via the Hotspot Parking Website at https://htsp.ca. There is no parking on the South side of the building as these parking spaces are assigned and unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
